GPA System – Last Step!

accountability

“Accountability breeds response-ability.” – Dr. Stephen R. Covey

The cadence of accountability is a rhythm of regular and frequent individual (or team) meetings that focus on important goals. Meetings can happen weekly or daily. Ideally they last no more than 20 minutes. In that brief time, you (or the team) will be held accountable for the commitments you (or the team) have made and will be scored accordingly. The activity of formally examining progress and making decisions with accountability partners CREATE accountability. Accountability will dramatically increase performance.

Choose your accountability partner wisely. Your sessions are not meant to catch up, talk shop and have a laugh. They need to be specific and on topic if they’re going to work. I would suggest you choose a supervisor or boss as an accountability partner, but it’s up to you.

Now, take a deep breath. You’ve done it…you have all the steps necessary to achieve all your goals. Now the only questions is, are you going to commit to the GPA System or not?
