Minimum wage work ethic?

The Bible tells us, “You must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”

Now I know what you’re thinking…the above verse refers to teaching our children. Yes, but it also speaks of the importance of practice. This applies to children as well as adults.

Remember the saying, “Practice like you play because you play like you practice.” Well, it’s true. The real battle is won on the practice field. If you wait until game time, it will too late. The discipline of repeating THE RIGHT activities over, and over again is how we strengthen our skills as well as our character.

If you want to be better…you simply must practice.

What is it YOU want to better at?

Business?

Family?

Relationships?

Getting better takes time. The battle will first be won on the practice field. This means that you must make practice a priority. Schedule it like you would an important event or appointment. No excuses. You can have success or excuses…not both.
