Living Life by Design

Getting up at 5:00 AM every morning to read God’s Word is often a deep, intimate experience. When I read and pray, it reminds me of when my son was young. He would crawl up on my lap, lay his head on me and put his hand flat on my chest. While on my lap, he felt protected, loved, accepted and content. All the cares and concerns of the day melted away. It was just he and I. 

There are often times when I wake up between 3:30 AM to 4:30 AM anxious and excited for my morning talk with God…a longing to crawl up into His lap.

This is exactly the deep, caring relationship God wants to have with you…
