As someone once said, ‘Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad!’ Knowledge is horizontal. Wisdom is vertical. Wisdom comes down from above. It is far more important to grow in wisdom than to grow in power or wealth. Wisdom outweighs everything. Intimacy with the Father leads to growth in wisdom.
By the Spirit of adoption you are brought into an intimate and eternal conversation with God the Father (Romans 8:15–17,26–27).
