The older I get the more concerned I get for both my children and my grandchildren. The foundation on which this country was built is crumbling before my eyes. We no longer have a moral compass. If someone stands up and proclaims 2+2=5 and sometimes can be 9 & 3/4, we are EXPECTED to believe it is truth, even though we know it’s wrong. Feelings have become more relevant than truth. How one perceives something is much more important than reality. Truth is now subject. There are no more absolutes.

There is no more debate. No more healthy discussion. If you don’t believe a certain way then you are labeled a hater. I have been shouted at, disrespected and bullied for my beliefs all in the name of tolerance.
The Bible used to be the foundation on which this nation stood. The 10 Commandments were not suggestions. We were expected to live our lives by them. Now if I mention them, people roll their eyes and tell me they’re racist, and that I’m racist for believing them.
In 2 Chronicles 32, it details Sennacherib king of Assyria attack on Judah. The Assyrian king hilariously outnumbered Hezekiah and the people of Israel. He sent officers to Jerusalem with message after message ridiculing The Lord, God of Israel and proclaiming the battle had already been lost and that they had no choice but to bow down and surrender. When all seemed lost, we see in verses 20 & 21, “King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amos cried out in prayer to heaven about this. And, the Lord sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the commanders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace.”
We, Gods people are under attack. We MUST fight back, stand firm and not apologize (or back down) from defending the truth…Gods truth. When all seems lost we are to cry out to God in prayer and he will answer.
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
What will you do today to defend what is right?
