A two minute read for busy professionals to start their day (Monday-Friday) with something positive, inspiring and thought provoking.
My youngest son is serving his country in the 82nd Airborne. Last year while on a “training mission” overseas, he had the opportunity to visit the Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Poland. He said it was an incredibly moving experience. Over the entrance to the camp a plaque reads, ‘The one who does not remember history is bound to live through it again’ (George Santayana).
The word ‘remember’ occurs over 250 times in the Bible. It is so easy to forget all that God has done for us. It is important for us to continually look back at our lives, as well as throughout history so we remember all that God has done for us.
In the next few weeks we will celebrate Easter. At the Last Supper, Jesus instituted the service of communion so that we would NEVER FORGET the two most important events in world history – his death and resurrection.
Generations come and go but the name of Jesus and all he has done for us will be remembered for ever…
Today, be an encouragement to others as they see the radiance of your smile. Preach the gospel of Christ with all your mind, all your strength, and in everything you do. When all else has been exhausted, use words…
