A two minute read for busy professionals to start their day (Monday-Friday) with something positive, inspiring and thought provoking.

Throughout my life I’ve witnessed Gods hand on me. I had rheumatoid arthritis as a teenager to the point I couldn’t bend my knees or fingers. God completely healed me and I haven’t had an issue since. So, when I came across this beautiful story (which was verified by numerous sources) while researching Psalm 38, I had to share it.Ajay Gohil was brought up as a Hindu and worked for the family business in a newsagent in North London. At the age of twenty-one he contracted erythrodermic psoriasis, a chronic skin disease. His weight dropped from 161 lbs to 105 lbs. The disease was all over his body from head to toe. He lost all his friends. His wife and son left him. He wanted to die.
As Ajay lay dying in hospital he cried out to God. He found a Bible in his room and opened it at Psalm 38. Each and every verse seemed relevant to him. He prayed for God to heal him. He fell into a deep sleep. By the next morning he was totally healed. His skin was new like a baby’s and his life was turned around. He was reunited with his son.
Life is not all buttercups and rainbows. We will all face troubles. However, in the midst of life’s traps and our own failings and difficulties, we can cry out to God. David knew that God was able to forgive him, rescue him, and heal him. Whatever failings or difficulties you may face today, you too can bring them (however raw) to God in prayer.
Today, remember that God can rescue you (and those around you) as he did David and Ajay. He IS your comforter. He IS your peace. He IS…all that you need.
